Lecture Enfant was created by a French teaching team specifically for the French Immersion classroom. Our specialty is the K-3 classroom. Our books and videos are also well suited for primary / junior core French classrooms as well as primary francophone school classrooms. Our books are not translations. They are the result of over 20 years of direct teaching experience with students in kindergarten / primary / junior French Immersion and core French programs. The vocabulary, language structures and length of our books have been specifically chosen to reflect the reading capabilities and expectations of these students.
In July 2024, Lecture Enfant is pleased to launch our newest online reading platform, LecturEnfant 2.0. We expect this to be available in July of 2024. We are so excited about this new platform for reading.
From 2017 to 2024, many new books, handouts and videos were added to the site.
In 2017, Lecture Enfant’s LivresVideo.net site was launched, offering at no extra charge a video version of each book for students to listen to.
